How to Apply to Host on KinkBNB

KinkBNB listings are owned by hosts, not the platform — your listing is tied to a Host Badge NFT in your own wallet. This guide walks through everything you need before you apply, the application itself, and what happens after you hit submit.

You don't need any crypto in your wallet to host. We use web3 infrastructure — wallets, NFTs, encrypted messaging — for the anonymity and security it gives you, not because hosting costs anything. There's no KINK token required, no gas fees for you to pay, and no balance to maintain. Your wallet is just your login and your proof of ownership over your own listing.

Before You Start

You'll need:

• A crypto wallet (e.g. MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or anything WalletConnect-compatible) installed in your browser or on your phone.
• A working email address and phone number — this is how the KinkBNB team will reach you about your application.
• Up to 6 photos of your space.

Applying is free. There's no gas fee and no KINK token required to submit an application — you only need a wallet connected so your future listing can be tied to it.

Step 1 — Connect Your Wallet

Go to kinkbnb.com/apply. If you don't have a wallet connected yet, you'll see a "Connect Wallet" prompt — click it and approve the connection in your wallet extension or app. Once connected, the application form opens automatically.

Step 2 — Basic Info

The first step covers what guests will see on your listing:

• Name of Space (required) — e.g. "The Velvet Loft."
• Postal Code (required) — your exact address is never shown publicly. This only places your listing on the map by neighborhood.
• Country (required)
• Description (required) — what makes your space special: vibe, amenities, house rules.
• Category (required) — pick the type(s) of space that fit.
• Amenities (required) — select what you offer.

Step 3 — Contact Info

Email and Phone are required — this is how KinkBNB reaches you about your application status. Website, Discord, and Telegram are optional if you want to list other ways guests or the community can find you.

Step 4 — Photos

Upload up to 6 photos of your space. Photos are uploaded to IPFS, so give the upload a moment — you'll see thumbnails appear as each one finishes. The first photo you upload becomes your listing's cover image; you can remove and re-add photos before submitting if you want to reorder which one goes first.

Step 5 — Review & Submit

The final step shows a preview of your listing card exactly as it will appear once approved. If anything's missing, the app will flag which step to go back to. When it looks right, click Submit.

What Happens After You Submit

• Your application goes to the KinkBNB team for review.
• You'll be contacted at the email or phone number you provided if we need anything else or once a decision is made.
• If approved, your Host Badge NFT is minted directly to the wallet you applied with. KinkBNB covers the minting gas — you never need ETH in your wallet to become a host.
• Once minted, your listing goes live and guests can find and message you through the platform.

Good to Know

• Your exact street address is never published — only a neighborhood-level location, from your postal code.
• Guest messages come through KinkBNB's end-to-end encrypted messaging (XMTP) between your connected wallet and theirs — the platform can't read message content.
